In order to meet your campus dining needs, we have designed the following meal plans. Meal plans can be used at the Greenspring, Owings Mills, and Owings Mills North campuses. On the Owings Mills Campus you can enjoy All-You-Care-to-Eat in the Marketplace as well as dine in or carryout at Pandini's. You can also use your meal plan and flex dollars in Jazzman's located in the Ratcliffe Center and in the School of Business. Our Owings Mills North campus includes the newly-built Cafe North dining location as well as the Cafe North Retail Wall.

On the Greenspring Campus your meal plan is accepted in Mustang Corral, which includes Mustang Grill, F.U.E.L., and Simply To Go.   


2017-2018 Meal Plans

Students Living in Suites
All students living in the suites must participate in the A block plan during their first through fourth semesters.

Students Living in Apartments
All students residing in the apartments are required to participate in either the A or B block plan during their first and second semesters at SU. Students in their third and fourth semesters can choose from the A, B, or C blocks plans. After the fourth semester, participation in a meal plan is  optional for students living in the apartments.

Transfer Students Living on Campus
All transfer students are required to participate in a meal plan during their first and second semesters at the University. Students living in the apartments must choose either A or B block plan. Students living in the suites much purchase the A block plan. 

Beginning with their third semester at the University, transfer students who joined the college as a junior (defined as 60 credits at the time of transfer) and live in an apartment will not be required to purchase a meal plan.

Choices, Choices, Choices!
To help you select the ‘right’ meal plan, first consider your daily routine…will your class schedule, studying, extracurricular activities and social event commitments interfere with dining?  Secondly, consider your own eating habits…are you an all day snacker, or do you prefer three meals a day? Finally, might you miss dinner due to employment obligations or evening classes? Anticipating the answers to these and similar questions will help you select a meal pan that best fits your lifestyle.

Take Your Meal with You!

On-the-Go? Enjoy our Rockland Marketplace To-Go program! Free to students, this program allows busy students to fill a to-go food container as well as a to-go beverage container with their food choices from Rockland Marketplace and take it with them to-go! Simply sign up at the Rockland Marketplace cash register during dining hours. When you're finished with your containers, bring the used set back to us, and we will give you a fresh set to fill up! No need to go to class, practice, or your meeting hungry!

Commuting Students

Flex Dollars

Flex Dollars
The Convenience of a Meal Plan allows you to add dollars to you flex account.  These funds offer the most flexibility and a great value, as they can be used in the Rockland Market place or in Pandini’s, Sub Connection, Mustang Corral, Jazzman’s Cafe and Bakery and the Quick Zone Convenience Store.

Your unused Flex Dollars roll over year after year as long as you are student at SU.

How do they work?  
Your Flex Dollars account works like a debit card. The account allows you to draw upon pre-deposited funds to purchase food throughout campus.  Having a Flex account is a great way to have the money you’ll need without carrying cash.  As an additional value, these funds are tax exempt, so you’ll continue to save. NOTE: these funds carry over from semester to semester, but expire after graduation and are forfeited if remain unused.

Once you’ve selected the Meal Plan that’s right for you, activate your account today! If you're a resident, go to the Residence Life office located in the Ratcliffe Community Center, or simply call (443) 352-4011. For commuters, go to Student Accounts located on the second floor of Garrison Hall. If you want to start saving, get on a plan today!

Lost or Stolen Meal Cards

Lost or stolen Meal Cards can be replaced. Should this happen to you contact security to report a stolen or lost card or to have a card replaced? Security (443) 352-4500.

One of our main goals is to provide a pleasant, clean, comfortable and satisfying dining experience. In order to meet this goal, we ask for your assistance with the following procedures:

  • Please bus your dishes and disposables from your table when you have finished dining
  • Please refrain from taking food, dishes or utensils from the dining area.
  • Remember that Meal Cards are non-transferable. Meal cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.
